The term three practicum will be Digital Literacy using Power Point...
We will be creating 'pick a path' style digital books and typography based creative pieces.

Here's some awesome Powerpoints from our third round of Practical Days:

Typography Powerpoints:

WARNING! They all contain sound so make sure you mute the videos as they all play at the same time. Then just unmute the one you wish to watch!
To stop your ispring movie autoplaying untick the box that says autoplay!

Great Work Mr Betts.

These are all able to be uploaded onto the net thanks to a program called i-spring. This is inside the folder you got from Nick at the practical session. You just need to double click on it to install it on your computer. There will be an automatic button to click on your powerpoint software to ensure it turns into a file able to be embedded in a wiki!

Starting Monday, 31st August we have the term three round of practicums. This is the last round for the year so it would be awesome if we can get as many teachers as possible on board for these.

The dates for the practicums are:

1) Monday 31st August
2) Wednesday 2nd September
3) Friday 4th September
4) Wednesday 16th September
5) Thursday 17th September

The practicums will run for a full day from 9am to 3.30pm.

Teachers will need to bring the following to their practicum day:
1) A COMPUTER
2) Know how to open Power Point
3) A short story idea retell- even a students piece of creative writing
4) A song in MP3 format they wish to use in their powerpoint (preferably slow in tempo)...this could be a lead teachers responsibility to whip up a few for staff to use.

Here are some examples of what we will be creating:
